As the year 2013 comes to an end its time to reflect on the past and prepare for the future. Think back to what worked well in 2013 and what didn’t work. Think about how you currently feel and how you are progressing towards your goals and what’s holding you back from achieving them. Ask yourself the following:
- How happy are you?
- How clear are you of your purpose in life?
- How regularly do you get to live out your passion?
- Did you have a New Years Resolution for 2012? Or did you set goals at the start of the year to achieve by the end of year?
- Is anything/anyone holding you back from achieving your goals in life?
If there are obstacles you are facing that could be preventing you physically and mentally from progressing then it’s time to eliminate what’s blocking you. Do it before the New Year!!!
“Sometimes, you have to look back in order to understand the things that lie ahead.”- Yvonne Woon
The answers to life’s questions lie within you. You have to be open and truthful with yourself about life. Having faith and believing in a high power can make the process of reflecting a little easier.
“Before we start crying and praying for the universe to take away our trials and tribulations, we might more closely examine what it has given us. Maybe, the good things are tests, possibly rather difficult ones at that, and the bad things are gifts to help us grow: problems to solve, situations to learn to avoid, habits to change, conditions to accept, lessons to learn, things to transform – all opportunities to find wisdom, happiness, and truth.” — Benjamin Hoff
With the new year approaching think about the positive and uplifting things that have happened this year. What was an unexpected joy?
As you prepare your 2014 New Year Resolutions, (yes we all do it, lol) think positive and attainable. And don’t forget to work toward removing current obstacles and challenges. Jot things down, make a vision board, and don’t forget to PRAY!!! Prayer changes things.
I hope everyone has a joyous holiday season!!!!
