Don’t Trip

He cheated. Don’t trip.

You lost your job.  Don’t trip.

Your “friend” stabbed you in the back. Don’t trip.

Time and time again we have been mistreated, misused, ignored and made to look like absolute fools–DON’T TRIP! Ladies, the only way we can continue to look like fools is if we allow scenarios like the aforementioned to prevent us from fulfilling our PURPOSE. Each of us were created for a purpose, that is to use our gifts for the greater good of those around us. However ladies, nothing worth having comes easy so, yes, during our lifetime we will suffer heartbreaks, persecution, and setbacks but it is up to us to turn those obstacles around and move forward. Life’s trials are inevitable but we must be aware that we never have to go through them and suffer alone. There is a greater power there to help us get through the hard times. Psalm 121:1-2 says, “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.”

The past is truly the past and we have the choice to either let it hinder us or uplift us. I choose to uplift and be uplifted. I choose to use those lessons I learned yesterday as lessons that I can teach today. I choose to let go of the past and smile. Stop carrying around old sorrows that do no good to you or the people around you. Stop being a “grouch” and MOVE ON. Your destiny awaits.

Be glad he cheated. He was taking up space for THE ONE.

Be glad you lost your job. A better paying one is waiting for you.

Be glad she stabbed you in the back. She wasn’t worthy of your friendship anyway.

“Only a fool trips over what’s behind him.” –Unknown

With that being said–DON’T TRIP!
